An East London born singer/songwriter, rapper & poet, Kemsthethinker skilfully blends jazzy conscious hip-hop and deep neo-soul with infectious rhythms. His lyrics are always conscious and introspective often dealing with themes of social/political issues, love and self-growth. Kems is currently a student at Leeds College of Music studying for a bachelors degree in popular music, as well as writing and performing music he has a deep interest in the study of musicology, specifically ethnomusicology.
